• PROVIDING PROPER TECHNICAL INFORMATION WHEN ORDERING:
In order to insure selection of the correct equipment for your needs, you must supply us with complete technical information as required. This is usually needed for us to provide a price quote or to process your order. We will be happy to communicate with your technicians as needed. When ever possible, we strongly recommend you allow time for a technical rehearsal prior to your event.
• BACK UP EQUIPMENT:
All rental equipment is given an operational and/or a meter test piror to being delivered. If equipment is set up on site by Bamboo Productions, it will be operationally tested again at that time. That is the full extent of responsibility by Bamboo Productions. When absolute assurance is required, back up equipment should be rented. We are not responsible for technical difficulties during your event.
• DELIVERY AND PICK-UP SERVICE:
To qualify for this service, there is a MINMUM RENTAL FEE OF $50.00, regardless of the rental cost of the item. The delivery/pick-up fee is in addition to the rental fee. This is a single charge covering both delivery and pick-up. This fee is for drop off items and does not include equipment set-up charge. A firm appointment time for delivery will be set when you place your order. You, or an authorized representative for you, or your company, is expected to be at the point of deliver/pick-up at the appointment time. Delivery persons are not required to wait longer than 30 minutes after an appointment time to meet you or your respresentative. For COD deliveries, delivery persons are not required to leave equipment on site if you are not present with payment. If last minute changes are made in the appointment time resulting in waits over 30 minutes, an additional set-up fee may be charged. Please be present for delivery if your imput is required for the lcoation of the equipment, or if you require a hands-on tutorial .
• EQUIPMENT SET-UP CHARGES:
It is our policy that small systems and items that typically can be set-up by one man in less than 15 minutes, are considered drop off items. (Examples are LCD projector, tripod screens, simple sound systems, etc.) Lareg systems and/or items that require substantial labor time or a two man delivery, will be charged a set-up fee. (Examples would be fast-fold screens, multiple TV's with distribution amplifier and cables, and large venue sound systems. These examples are not all inclusive.) If you or your company are assuming responsibility for setting up equipment on site, no set-up fee will be charged. If Bamboo Productions is to assume single source accountability for delivery and set-up of equipment, a set-up fee will be determined at the time the equipment is ordered. If we provide set-up, we will break down equipment as well. Client break down resulting in additional time to check and inventory equipment . sort cables, and/or remove tape and glue from cables, will be billed additional labor.
• OPERATORS/TECHNICIANS:
Operators/technicians are available at $65.00/hr. with a three (3) hour minimum. Operators/technicians on site during meals shall be provided a meal. Normal attaire is work/sports clothes. Communicate when booking if semi-formal or formal attire is required.
• CANCELLATIONS:
All cancellations must be communicated directly to a Bamboo Productions staff member. Voice mail, email, or fax, without an immediate response, is NOT direct eommunication. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before contracted delivery date/time will be fully refunded. Cancellations made up to four hours before a contracted delivery date/time will be refunded 50%. Cancellations on site, due to weather, will NOT be refunded. Cancellations are not refundable under any other schedule. Rental agreements are binding to clients as well as Bamboo Productions.
• LOSS OR DAMAGE:
Any rental equipment lost, damaged, or stolen is the responsibility of the renter. Payment for lost or damaged equipment will be made within 10 business days after the occurrence. No exceptions. Please, DO NOT, under any circumstances, disassemble equipment or attempt to rpair any failed equipment. Any damage caused will, of necessity, require full payment.
• LIABILITY:
The renter accepts FULL responsibility for any and all injury to other persons and property through the use of the rented equipment.
• PAYMENT:
We attempt to pass a savings on to our customers by eliminating the need for clerical billing. You will note that each rental sheet is identified as an 'INVOICE & CONTRACT." This is the only invoice you will receive. New customers, who have not previously established credit with our company are on a "prepaid" or COD status. Credit applications for new customers must be requested, submitted to us, and approved before a transaction may be executed as a charge. Credit customers are expected to make payment within 30 days of the receipt of equipment. Failure to do so will result in the assessment of a $30.00 late charge.
• REFUSALS:
Bamboo Productions reserves the right to refuse service without explanation.
